The Spanish company will invest 21.5 million euros in a 2,200-square-meter space located within the luxury complex. The project is expected to create around one hundred jobs.
The Spanish multinational AIRE Ancient Baths has reached an agreement with Galería Canalejas to open its first establishment in Madrid. With this opening, the firm specialized in the wellness sector will add its fifth location in the domestic market —where it already operates in Barcelona, Seville, Vallromanes, and Almería— and will strengthen an international network that already has a presence in cities such as London, New York, Chicago, Copenhagen, and Toronto.
The new center will be located inside the Canalejas Complex, an urban environment that brings together international fashion brands and the Four Seasons Hotel. The space will have an independent entrance at 12 Calle Alcalá, a location that places this project within the high-end market segment in the capital.
Investment and project features
The facilities will cover approximately 2,200 square meters dedicated to relaxation treatments, massages, and thermal circuits. To launch this urban oasis, the company has budgeted an investment of 21.5 million euros. Additionally, it is estimated that the opening will involve hiring around 100 people to fill the various positions on the local team.
Amadeo Serra, CEO of AIRE Ancient Baths, has stated that the arrival in Madrid responds to a strategic objective of the company: «We wanted to ensure we arrived in the capital with a truly exceptional location. We are convinced that, with this new space, we have achieved it.».
For its part, Karine Titli, General Manager of Galería Canalejas Madrid, has highlighted the synergy between both organizations: «We work with a vision of excellence based on the quality and innovation of the asset, the selection of top operators, and exquisite service, and the proposal from AIRE Ancient Baths is fully aligned with this purpose.».
With this agreement, the multinational continues to develop its international expansion plan in major European capitals, maintaining its concept of integrating disconnection centers in historic and emblematic buildings within urban environments.
