The Aufguss-WM e.V. announces that the World Show Aufguss Championship (WM) -the world's largest sauna event - will take place this year from 15 to 21 September 2025 in Aquardens Spa, near Verona (Italy).
In the Italian homeland of sauna culture and aufguss, the best sauna masters from all over the world will gather for a unique competition of the senseswhere well-being, art and international excellence merge in a unique show.
More from 160 participants from Germany, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Norway, Japan, Canada, the USA and many more countries will compete for the coveted world title in individual and team events. In almost 80 shows scheduledIn the course of the show, an international jury of experts will evaluate each performance according to the staging, fragrance composition, ventilation technique, heat management and, of course, the atmosphere created.
The championship will be held in the newly built Sauna Del DesertoA stunning 300-seat sauna theatre, equipped with a movable LED wall, synchronised light, music and water technology, and an elegant interior design in Hemlock wood and Ayous benches. A perfect setting for an experience that stimulates body, mind and heart alike.
The event will take place at the Aquardens SpaItaly's largest thermal and sauna complex and one of Europe's leading wellness destinations since 2012. Located in the hills of Valpolicella, Aquardens offers a true sensory journey with its spectacular themed saunas - such as the Celtic sauna, the modern panoramic sauna or the Russian banya - as well as innovative cold experiences and spacious relaxation areas.
