Davines Group joins with Spanish distributor Beovipel to form new subsidiary Davines Spain

The Davines Group - company of professional cosmetics known for its hair brand Davines and its skin care brand [comfort zone], and certified B Corp since 2016. - strengthens its presence in Europe with the launch of its new Spanish subsidiary: Davines España.

The Davines Group has been present in Spain for 30 years thanks to a strong and successful relationship with its exclusive distributor Beovipel. This partnership has enabled Davines to consolidate its position as one of the top 10 professional hair care brands in the country, while [comfort zone] has become a key partner of numerous prestigious spas.

With the opening of this new subsidiary, the Italian group will take over direct management of its operations in the Spanish market from 1 January 2026, acquiring from Beovipel its entire client portfolio - more than 1,500 businesses, including salons, beauty centres and spas - as well as a team of more than 60 professionals. Davines Spain will also manage five training academies: in Bilbao and Barcelona for Davines and [comfort zone], and in Madrid, Valencia and Alicante for Davines.

The Davines Group seeks to expand its territorial coverage, strengthen operational synergies and accelerate its training and sustainability initiatives. This transition is designed to ensure continuity for both customers and Beovipel employees. Davines Spain headquarters will be in BilbaoThe new subsidiary will have Irene Urbano, daughter of Beovipel's founder, who will continue to be part of the marketing and communication team in the new subsidiary.

A strategic growth market

The Spanish market for professional hair products is one of the most dynamic in Europe: in 2024 it generated revenues in excess of €520 million, with an average annual growth rate of 5 % over the last three years. The outlook for the period 2025-2028 remains very positive, driven by trends such as the growing demand for sustainable products, personalised treatments and high value-added services in professional salons. Direct management will enable the Davines Group to respond more quickly and effectively to these trends, enhancing its direct dialogue with clients and professionals within the Davines community.

Davines España will be led by Bruno Lelievre as Director Generalan executive with 30 years of experience in the professional hair industry, more than 15 of them in the Davines Group. With a solid international career mainly between France and Spain, he has been General Manager of Davines France since 2009 - a position he will keep - and has made a key contribution to the development of the group in the French market. In parallel, he has supported the expansion of the Spanish, Portuguese and Belgian markets, directly managing business development as Business Development Director.

The development of the professional skincare brand [comfort zone] in Spain will continue under the leadership of Davide Manzoni, Skincare's General Manager for Italy and the Iberian Regionwith thirty years of experience in the professional beauty sector. Manzoni was involved in the launch of the skincare division of the Davines Group in 1996. Today, [comfort zone] is a leader in the professional beauty sector in Italy and a global benchmark in destination and urban spas, with a presence in more than 40 countries. In Spain, it will strengthen the network of beauty centres and spas that use [comfort zone] products and technologies for facial and body care.
