Kuala Lumpur is set to become an international hotspot for wellness and outdoor design as it hosts the ASEAN Patio Pool Spa Expo 2026 (APPS 2026), which will take place from 10-12 September at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The event will also be held in parallel with the ASEAN Garden Living Expo, broadening the focus on a lifestyle where nature, architecture and health are integrated.
In a global context in which wellness is evolving towards more complete experiences - where the environment, water and technology play an essential role - this fair is positioned as a key meeting point to find out how spaces dedicated to rest, recovery and healthy leisure are being redefined. Over 10,000 square metres of exhibition space, the event will showcase the entire industry chain: from landscaping for patios and gardens to advanced pool equipment, spa systems and intelligent control solutions.

More than 200 companies will present around 5,000 products and technologies, many of them aimed at improving the wellness experience in hotels, resorts, private residences and tourist destinations. Biophilic design, the integration of water in relaxation spaces and the automation of facilities will be some of the main topics of conversation in the sector.
The event will attract some 10,000 professionals from more than 70 countries and regions, including property developers, hotel buyers, resort planners, specialist retailers and hospitality and wellness experts. This international profile reflects the growing interest in the development of infrastructures that combine leisure, health and sustainability.
In addition to the exhibition area, the programme will include forums and meetings with specialists to discuss new trends in the pool and spa industry, a segment that in recent years has become increasingly linked to the concept of holistic wellness and the creation of environments designed to promote relaxation, physical recovery and connection with nature.

Among the areas present at the exhibition are technological equipment for swimming pools and bathing areas, spa, sauna and water leisure facilities, water park solutions, landscaping and horticultural products, as well as outdoor furniture, barbecues and equipment for patios and gardens that are part of the new outdoor living culture.
The ASEAN Patio Pool Spa Expo has established itself in just a few editions as one of Southeast Asia's leading professional platforms for the industry. Since its launch, it has held three editions and has been expanding its scope as a point of connection between the ASEAN market and the global resources of the sector.
The 2026 edition continues this evolution at a time when wellness is increasingly understood as an experience that goes beyond the interior of traditional spas and expands into hybrid environments, where design, nature and technology shape new spaces for relaxation and longevity.
