Less than a month to go until Massachusetts and Andalusia, from their airports in Boston and Granada, inaugurate an \"air bridge\" to talk about BioMedicine and BioTechnology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will take place from 8 to 11 April in Granada.<\/strong>where the first edition of a new event will take place, BioMed & Tech Talks<\/a>Your appointment with research and innovation, which already has on its agenda representatives from the WHO, the European Commission, FarmaIndustria, multinational pharmaceutical companies and health communicators from the United States, Europe and Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coinciding with World Health Day and World Health Week, Granada will host an annual event called to be the reference for innovation and research in BioMedicine and BioTechnology in Southern Europe. BM&TTalks' is supported by the Fundaci\u00f3n Progreso y Salud (FPS), of the Consejer\u00eda de Salud y Consumo de la Junta de Andaluc\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the third oldest medical school in the United States, it has pioneered numerous medical and scientific advances throughout its history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to its focus on academic excellence, Harvard Medical School has a long tradition of community service and commitment to global health. Its researchers and medical professionals work around the world to address much-needed health challenges and to improve access to health care in underserved communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, also from the state of Massachusetts, 'BM&TTalks' will have the honour of featuring Megan Miller<\/strong>Health Officer at InterNews Network<\/strong>The European Commission, a non-profit information network present in more than 100 countries, works with a broad portfolio of partners, including governments, non-governmental organisations and local media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Director of Health at Internews, Miller leads innovative initiatives that use media to address public health challenges in communities around the world. With a strong background in public health and communications, Miller has dedicated her career to promoting access to accurate and relevant health information in diverse and often underserved contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of Miller's key areas of focus at Internews is public health risk communication and emergency response, where he works to improve community preparedness and response to disease outbreaks and other public health events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovative format for a high-level event<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Granada Health Technology Park<\/strong> will host the first edition of 'BioMed&Tech Talks': Your appointment with research and innovation, a new independent, transversal, international and multidisciplinary event that from 8 to 11 April 2024, coinciding with World Health Day and World Health Week, will give visibility to innovative projects in BioMedicine and BioTechnology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agenda will include two face-to-face sessions (Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 April) and two virtual sessions (10 and 11 April). This format makes it easier for speakers who cannot travel to Granada to share their progress and messages with the entire community, which raises the academic level of this event to the highest level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
