It is no coincidence: to discuss important and crucial issues such as war, immigration and international security, there is no place more ideal than an oasis of peace, nature and well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who convened the 50th G7 summit on 13-15 June last, is well aware of this. Borgo Egnazia<\/a>Puglia, Italy. The event brings together as usual the leaders of the seven Member States, as well as the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resort is located in the Itria Valley, between the blue Adriatic Sea and endless ancient olive groves. It is a worldwide symbol of hospitality and actively contributes to the growth of Puglia as a high-end tourist destination. Key sessions at the G7 summit have focused on Africa, climate change and development; conflict in the Middle East; the war in Ukraine; migration; Indo-Pacific economic security; and artificial intelligence and energy in Africa and the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pope Francis also made an appearance (making him the first pontiff to attend a G7 Summit) and spoke about artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The privately owned Borgo Egnazia resort places great emphasis on wellness and is home to the award-winning 1,800 sqm Vair Spa.
