SEAT's Healthy Week promotes health and wellness with activities open to the public from 8 to 11 April

CASA SEAT joins once again this year the Healthy Weekthe initiative of SEAT S.A. which promotes health and wellbeing, with a programme of activities open to the public that, from 8 to 11 April 2025will address different areas of physical and mental care.

This commitment to health is not new for CASA SEAT, which during the pandemic became a fixed point of vaccination against COVID-19 in Barcelona. Thanks to this initiative, more than 120,000 people had access to immunisation, reinforcing the company's commitment to Barcelona society.

José Mª Navarrete DuránHead of Health, Safety and Emergencies (HSE) at SEAT S.A., points out: "With Healthy Week we want to bring health to every corner of our organisation and to our city, Barcelona, thus reinforcing our commitment to a way of working in which people and their wellbeing are at the centre. We are committed to a preventive culture that empowers people to take care of their physical, mental and emotional health".

Holistic health and emotional wellbeing

The space kicks off Healty Week on 7 April with a first session dedicated to ADHD with the Dr. Javier QuinteroThe event will be attended by the head of the Psychiatry and Mental Health Service at the Infanta Leonor University Hospital, who will explain the challenges and strategies for managing the disorder. In addition, CASA SEAT will also be hosting a talk on the same day with Francesc RistolThe CEO of the Centro de Terapias Asistidas con Canes (CTAC), on the positive impact and benefits of these interventions in the hospital, emotional and cognitive environment for patients and health professionals.

On the other hand, an inspirational session on self-improvement and personal growth will take place on the 11th. David Boschprofessional driver and technical director of the FAST Parcmotor driving school, will share his experience after a life-changing traffic accident and the tools that have enabled him to face challenges with greater safety and peace of mind.

On the same day, CASA SEAT will host a round table with experts from the sector on childhood cancer, in collaboration with the Associació de Nens amb Càncer (AFANOC). In addition, the Dr. Bonaventura ClotetPresident of the Fundació Lluita contra les Infeccions, will lead the meeting. From HIV to neurodegenerative diseasesThe event will explore how HIV research has contributed to advances in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. 

Movement and sport

Sport will also be the protagonist in this edition of Healthy Week with two experiences designed to connect body and mind through conscious movement.

On 8 April, CASA SEAT and CASA BARRÉ have prepared two sessions in which strength, balance and music combine to generate an immersive experience that invites reconnection. On the 9th, CASA SEAT presents MOVE ON, a fitness session in collaboration with EDAN STUDIOS and led by Anna Lewandowska, one of the most influential figures in functional training in Europe.

With this programme, CASA SEAT joins SEAT S.A.'s Healthy Week, which during the week includes a programme of more than 40 activities in both on-site and online formats at the company's different centres in the following locations Martorell and Barcelona.
