The first Spa dedicated to hair wellness and longevity opened last December in the heart of Madrid at SenseA Rosewood Spa, at the Rosewood Villa Magna hotel.
Referred to as Hair Wellness SpaThe beautiful and innovative facility was brought to life by entrepreneur Claudia di Paolo and focuses on improving hair health.
Di Paolo says the three new pro-ageing hair treatments on the spa's menu combine modern cosmetic hair technology with massage therapy, meditation and head massage.
He claims that the rituals activate the body's natural repair and regeneration mechanisms while helping to prevent signs of stress and premature ageing.
New additions to the spa menu include:
- Reset: Inner Balance Cure, 60 minutes (€210, US$229, £181).
- Reveal: Beyond Vitality Cure, 60 minutes (€210, 229 $ US, £181).
- Rediscover: Signature Awareness Cure, 90 minutes (£280, 306 $ US, £242).
"After more than 30 years of experience in the world of beauty and luxury, I identified the importance of hair health in overall personal wellness," di Paolo told Spa Business.
"Hair longevity is an emerging trend in the industry that has been accentuated and accelerated in the last three years, so I have developed a new and disruptive concept to promote its benefits.
"We are having great success so far, as it offers spa teams the possibility to open up a new category in their treatment menus".
All the rituals and elements of the Hair Wellness Spa treatment room, including the treatment beds, have been designed by the Claudia Di Paolo Beauty team together with architect and interior designer Emmanuelle Simon.
