The Estate: luxury hospitality enters the age of longevity

Kenneth Ryanformer vice president of Marriott's global spa, fitness and retail operations, has been appointed to a new role in Marriott's global spa, fitness and retail operations. Chief Longevity Officer of the new concept of luxury hospitality The Estate.

With a 27-year track record in the industry, Ryan will lead the implementation of artificial intelligence-based health assessments, monitoring biological age, personalised longevity programmes and more, in an innovative portfolio of properties that seeks to redefine luxury from a preventive wellness perspective.

In his new role, Ryan will lead strategic partnerships with biotech companies, longevity experts e medical facilitiesto integrate cutting-edge wellness therapies and technologies into The Estate concept. It will also be responsible for developing personalised retreatsmembership programmes, private label wellness products and experiences focused on extending healthy living.

The Estate belongs to the hospitality tycoon's operating group. Sam NazarianSBE, and is supported by the motivational coach Tony Robbinsthe musician Marc Anthony and the investor Richard Attius.

His vision: merging preventive medicine, AI-based diagnostics and longevity science in an unprecedented hotel proposal. The aim is to have 15 luxury hotels focusing on wellness y 10 urban centres for preventive medicine and longevity by 2030.

The first centre is due to open later this year in Century Plaza, Los Angeleswith 1,200 m² dedicated to longevity. It will be managed by Fountain Lifea company specialising in advanced diagnostics and therapies to live longer and better.

The second confirmed location will be Kittitian Hill in St. Kitts (St. Kitts), in the Caribbean, a resort founded in 2006 by Val Kempadoocurrently operating under the name Belle Mount Sanctuary Resort.

By 2026, the concept will expand to Miamithe United Kingdom, Trento (Italy), Montreux (Switzerland) and the Middle East.

Some sites will be associated with Clinique La PrairieThe prestigious Swiss clinic, with more than 90 years of experience, will offer comprehensive treatments under its own brand name Longevity Hub and the line of supplements CLP Holistic Health.

In addition, some properties will include private residences connected to hotelsThe residents will have direct access to medical check-ups, therapies and personalised counselling.

Ryan is known for having been the Marriott luxury spas strategistoverseeing the world's largest portfolio in the sector, with more than 650 locations that generate 540 million per year. He has also worked with top brands such as Fairmont, Raffles, Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis.

Commenting, Ryan said:

"The biggest challenge is to make each experience as unique as the person who lives it. This is not a generic approach. What sets The Estate apart is that longevity is not just another service: it is the core philosophy. We are creating a way of life that is as intentional as it is indulgent".

On withdrawals, he adds:
