Finca Cortesín opens to Lanserhof which will officially enter Spain in 2026 with a wellness resort

Lanserhof Groupthe Austrian-based operator of medical wellness centres, has announced plans to open a new health destination in Finca Cortesin (Casares), near Marbella in Spain.

The property will be the fourth European resort of Lanserhof and will join its portfolio of destinations located in Lans (Austria), Tegernsee and Sylt (Germany), as well as clinics in London and Hamburg.

The 24,000 square metre complex will feature 70 rooms and high-end wellness facilities as well as medical equipment and services. In addition, Lanserhof intends to operate it with the highest standards of sustainability.

The next establishment of Lanserhof will be located within the renowned Finca Cortesínwhich is centred around an award-winning hotel and golf course.

For this project, Lanserhof has partnered with AltamarCAM, a global asset manager specialising in private markets, and the Spanish real estate investment group Inbest-GPF.

The two companies will invest more than 100 million euros ($105.4 million, £86.8 million) in the development of a state-of-the-art building.

Following the recent signing of the transaction in Madrid, and once the licensing phase is completed, construction will begin in mid-2024 and the doors of Spain's first Lanserhof are expected to open in 2026.
